Connecting the Coastline: Envisioning
a Port Huron to Toledo Greenway (2017)
In the spring of 2017, I was part of a 10-person team tasked with envisioning a 150-mile non-motorized coastal greenway from Port Huron, MI, to Toledo, OH, on behalf of the Community Foundation for Southeast Michigan's GreenWays Initiative. The study area spanned 35 local units of government and four counties, and contained numerous technical obstacles, including a U.S. Air Force base and a nuclear power station. This report was the final client capstone project for the Master of Urban and Regional Planning program at the University of Michigan's Taubman College.

The early stages of the project focused on data collection, and during this phase I conducted background research and participated in a wide range of stakeholder and expert interviews. For the final phase of the project, I served as lead editor, project manager, and co-designer of the 140-page print report.
